Baby noises, bath times and page views???

first, i think you should all know that chunky monkey thinks that blowing raspberries is a form of communication that is far superior to saying "mama" or "dada". this mama is not so very thrilled by that right now.  is it normal that everytime i look at him and say "mama" very clearly he just starts laughing like crazy? how sad for me to realize that my kid already thinks mama is a joke!  it doesn't help that when we say "NO" we get the same laugh.  its a good thing he is so darn cute.

side note: as i am writing this he just crawled over, grabbed his paci and crawled to the pillow pet and laid his head down. HOW CUTE. (maybe it is nap time)

back to my original train of thought. i decided that today would be bath day in our house.  so after lunch (when i noticed a fowl smell) i decided it was time to bathe the dog. this is never a very easy task nor does having an 8 month old make it any easier but i was not about to waist my precious nap time break with giving caliper a bath! so in she went.  it was uneventful. i was so thrilled to have her nice and clean yet still noticed a nasty smell---monkey's diaper!  ICKY. so we just stripped the baby and threw him in the tub too...he was overdue for a bath anyway:).  now that my kiddos are clean i noticed that my house is a disaster!  oh, and i need to take a shower too!  i think it would be easier to go back in time and not give the kids a bath. at least then i wouldn't feel like there was so much to get done.  ok so that sounds super lazy even to me but really who wants to come back from a vacation and have to clean the whole house?  NOT ME!

lets be honest, who wants to clean their house all the time (except maybe a very select few). so i decided to complain to a friend about this continuous mess only to be reminded that i started a blog yesterday.  so i thought "lets go write some more.." and when i finally figured out how to find my blog again it said i had 9 page views in the last 22 hours?!?!?!??!?!? how is this possible!!!  i just started this thing, i didn't tell any of my friend/family about it.  i wasn't even sure what i was going to do with it...but low and behold i have 9 views.  i seriously wish i could stalk the people that viewed this page and find out who they are but that information is not given for obvious reasons---but i am interested in who is reading random blogs in germany. (maybe my friend nikki found it?) so weird how fast people can find you online!  this is a totally different world then what my mom grew up in! CRAZY.

Hello Blogging World

i am very new to the blog world which keeps me thinking "why start now?" i am not sure that anybody out there wants to hear the thoughts of yet ANOTHER stay at home mom. plus i am not sure how much of my life i want to put out there. my hubs would say NO to this all together but truth be told i kind of miss writing.  putting my thoughts on paper and documenting what happens in our little home. i want to start this blog by saying "hello" to anybody who may happen across this and warn you that i won't always spell things correctly or use proper grammar (sorry to all my wonderful college professors--especially dr. layne) hopefully they just never read this :). i am purposely not going to capitolize things unless i am emphasizing a word---not sure why, i just want to do it that way for now. i am sure that will change.

i suppose that leads us to an introduction to me. i am a 20something stay at home momma who has a degree in elementary education (which i only used to sub for a couple of years). i don't think my 4 year degree was a waste though, i learned a lot of tough life lessons in college. i got my fair share of regrets and come out with a couple of amazing friends.  if nothing else all that hardwork and pain was worth is so i would have those few friends. i got out of college and decided i wanted to find a man to marry! HAHAHAHAHA i wish i was kidding because that sounds so dorky.  so anyway, i signed up for a dating website (no i am not going to say which one) and very quickly met my amazing husband. we were married all of 2 months when we moved 2,000 miles away from our families and started our family.  first with our fur child caliwali and next with our chunky monkey.  two years later we have a sweet puppy (who is very needy) and an eight month old goofy ball baby boy who loves to make his mommy laugh.

i will probably eventually bore you all with my annoying "my son is the best because..." writings and will probably irritate others with my opinions about things but isn't that the point of a blog?  put your voice out there and hope someone is listening---even if only for a little bit. oh well this is LONG enough...i hope i keep up with this and i hope someone eventually reads it! (even if its just my close friends)
